Before: The homeowners want everything removed from this spare room and since they own a cabinet-making shop, they have elaborate plans for the room's design.

After: Built-in cabinetry and wainscoting becomes the focal point of the space, creating the perfect backdrop for soft furnishings, artwork and family mementos.

Before: Although this is going to be a work space, the Nagels don't want it to look like an office building so custom cabinetry and comfortable furniture is a must.

After: Matching chairs, fun fringe on the lighting and new wooden tables make this a room the family will really enjoy spending time in.

Hosts Matt Fox and Shari Hiller help a children’s playroom grow up into a mature and sophisticated home office. They get some inspiration for the homeowners, Jamie and Dana Nagel, and Fox takes a trip to Jamie's woodworking shop to get some tips from the pros. New furniture, window treatments and wall color help complete the project as Fox and Hiller transform a playroom into a room for work.
