Breathe new life into a pillow with a simple cover.Materials:
fabric
measuring tape
pillow form
Steps:
1. Measure the width and length of the pillow. Cut a piece of fabric one inch larger than the width and make the length of the fabric two times the pillow length plus five inches (figure A).
2. Fold the short ends over ½ inch twice toward the wrong side of the fabric and pin the hems. Sew them in place.
3. With the right side of the fabric facing up, fold in the right side, and then the left side so they overlap in the middle (adjust as necessary so the finished length fits your pillow) (figure B).
4. Pin the raw edges and sew them in place using a half-inch seam allowance. Trim the corners and turn the cover right side out. Slip the old pillow into the cover.
