When the current homeowners decided to reinvent their 1950s Palm Beach home, they called upon Swedish designer Lars Bolander. The result is a blurring of the lines between lavish décor and landscape design. Tranquil earthtones and soft blues are among the colors that fill the unique interior. The loggia walls just inside the front door perform a disappearing act, transforming the sitting room into a covered patio.
The only real strong color is found on the tangerine-hued taffeta curtains in the master bedroom, which contains a four-poster bed custom designed by Bolanger.
