This loft is nicely furnished, but the arrangement of the pieces isn't making the most of the space. The large pieces will be used as anchors to define a living and dining area more clearly and comfortably.

Rearranging the sofa to face the fireplace, placing two small chairs next to each other and bringing in the settee creates an inviting living room area. Lowering the pendant lights over the dining table and an intimate chair arrangement makes that area more comfortable as well.
The best way to decide furniture placement, no matter what size room you're working with, is to sketch it out on paper first or buy a floor plan kit. These allow you to try out all of the possibilities before moving a thing.
