Before: This hardworking and sweet guest bedroom also functions as a dressing room. It's in an older home with little closet space so the homeowners want to make it work even harder for their daily dressing needs.

After: A dark wall color highlights the existing pieces while two pantry cabinets flanking the vanity get new feet and are tied together with a top shelf and crown molding.

Before: The vanity is used for make up application, blow drying and final primping and the white dresser is the only clothes storage for the man of the house.

After: The tailored day bed is a perfect contrast to the curvaceous furnishings and saves floor space. It also doubles as a couch when not being used by guests. Sleek taffeta window treatments look lovely with brush fringe.
This guest bedroom functions primarily as a dressing room. Hosts Matt Fox and Shari Hiller make the homeowners happy with the addition of a couple of storage pieces, a homemade day bed, a moody wall color, luxurious draperies, extra lighting and more for an old Hollywood-style space they'll love using every day.
