BeforeJack and Ginger Freed have collected pieces to create an old English library for years and yet their room has become a cluttered storage space. The main issues include the lack of proper storage for books, space to display accessories, paint to warm up the room and a comfortable seating plan.
The Dilemma
Snijders gathers Summer Baltzer and Charles Burbridge together to discuss the design plan, which includes a wall of coordinated shelving with crown molding for their books and accessories and reconfiguring the furnishings for a more comfortable and functional reading area. Burbridge's task is to choose a faux finish to enhance the Old World atmosphere, while Baltzer's mission is to transform Jack's stained glass into illuminated art.
