When one feature dominates a room, picking a color for it can be intimidating. That's what newlyweds Steve and Carly learned when they covered one wall of their living room with built-in bookcases. They're stuck on what color to paint them, and that decision is holding up the rest of the design. The newlyweds tried to add color with a red chair and colorful rug against their beige walls and couch, but they're already tired of them. The rug feels heavy and dowdy in the otherwise neutral room. The built-in bookcases dominate the space, and the couple is afraid of choosing the wrong color.
They would like to bring that relaxing, outdoorsy feel into their home. Host June Lockhart shows them a camping-inspired color wheel to get them past their color block.
