AfterWhen Sharon and Ryan Reilly moved into their home, they were attracted to its hardwood floors, cove ceilings and architectural niches. Built in the 1930s, the home offers them a unique vintage backdrop for a design scheme and the couple is eager to establish their decorating style. Without a clue on how to create an inviting casual space, the Reillys would like to see what three designers come up with.
After meeting with all the designers, Sharon and Ryan choose Ross and Barbara Farrell for the job. The design team transforms the space into a classic yet contemporary space that sets the tone for the rest of the house. One of the most dramatic changes is the color on the walls. Another big change: the newly created fireplace, which the Reillys spent a little more money on. Everything in this new space makes the room feel very grand and large.
