The Wyatts felt that Hale-Williams' design for the draperies really enhanced the windows and that the tabletop space was just perfect for Cary's needs, so that is who they went with. With a budget of $20,000, the design team of Tom Williams and Robert Hale set out to create an elegant, functional home office for retiree Cary Wyatt and his wife, Connie. The Wyatts are thrilled for many reasons: the wire management system Hale and Williams came up with; the paint on the built-ins instead of stain; the Americana art and accessories they worked in; and the drapes and flooring. The strategy of using a mixed modern design technique with Western art created an office that complements Connie and Cary's spectacular home.
