Homeowners Alan and Alida Beilke have a bland bedroom, but they want a room that's cozy, warm and colorful. The bedroom is all white and beige, stark and plain, with no personality. There are a couple of black accents (bedside lamps and an armoire) but nothing even on the walls. Bromstad walks through the rest of the house looking for color inspiration but finds more of the same white and beige, with a little red and black here and there.

Taking a cue from nature, host/designer David Bromstad decides on a color palette that reflects the beauty of the trees and leaves right outside their bedroom. Using classic design elements as well as modern graphic ones, Bromstad and his design team create a relaxing sanctuary that has elegance and style, and of course, a lot more color.
