Lee chooses a three-color palette based on hues that stimulate the appetite. The warm tones are complemented with a faux zebrawood mantel and countertop. New barstools provide additional seating around the countertop that connects the kitchen to the living room. A hanging divider marks a difference in the spaces, without interrupting the flow between the two spaces. Shelving and curtains hide the usual kitchen clutter from sight, so the focus is on the design.
