A faux sky is painted on with blue and white paint; a metal accent over the top mimics a window.

An embossed wallpaper border brings an architectural look to the walls.

A metal side table is topped with a salvaged drawer for an open storage solution for the father.

$115 — Shades, Baskets and Hooks
The individual cubbies are outfitted with roll-up shades decorated with rub-on decals and the names of the four girls and their father. Wicker baskets are stowed above. More hooks are attached inside the cubbies to hold jackets and bags.

A message board is created out of a cupboard door. Cork is added to the top panel; a piece of an art print decorates the bottom panel. Cup hooks line the edges to keep keys in plain sight. A pair of shutters are placed on either side of the message board to stow birthday party invites, mail and other loose papers.
