Moon and Star Wall Technique

latex satin base coat paint (Handsome Hue SW1247)
upper wall paint (Ralph Lauren Candlelight Silver RL22024)
painter's tape
long level
4" paintbrush
star stamps
foam paintbrush
wallpaper border (specifics not available)

Steps:

1. Paint the walls the base coat color and let dry.
2. Draw a level line all the way around the room at the desired border height and tape-off below the line and along the ceiling.
3. Use a four-inch brush to apply the silver paint above the line using vertical strokes. Let dry.
4. Coat the stamp evenly with paint using a foam brush and apply it to the wall (each coating should produce two decent impressions). Repeat until the upper portion of the wall is stamped as desired. Let dry and remove painter's tape.
5. Hang the border as directed.
