First, the backs are taken off the frames; they are used as the canvases. They are laid out in the position they will hang on the wall. Next, the various objects are laid across the canvases in a random pattern. This family used a saxaphone, drumsticks, a baseball bat and a few other objects.
The images are traced onto the canvases using pencil. Then the objects are removed and each object is painted a different color. The artwork creates an instant focal point in the room and has a personal meaning for the whole family.
