The design team transformed a front room used for storage into a retro-modern living room.

Brownrigg featured shimmering fabrics, metallic accents and ethereal artwork to create this designer look.

The transformation began by adding a cool green hue (Benjamin Moore: Hamptons Green) to the walls. The design team chose matchstick blinds with a hint of green to simulate the soft look of the green silk panels in the inspiration room.

The design team scored the perfect shapely and unique sofa to replace the designer wave sofa that anchored the inspiration room. The design team assembled a simple wrought iron table to replicate the look of the custom designed vine table from the inspiration room. The table was topped with silver candle holders to match the hammered vases from the inspiration room.

The inspiration aluminum finished alder wood table was recreated by adding a top to a curved table base and refinishing it in a silver tone. The cocktail table was topped with white pears, gold grapes and a book from the homeowner's collection.

The team chose an abstract painting with a similar color palette to replace the mixed media and acrylic print from the inspiration room. The bronze, gold and silver mirrors from the inspiration room were replaced with square mirrors that were strikingly similar. The design team completed the look by re-creating the custom designed Athena chair using a simple wooden chair and a silk dupioni slipcover.
