Modern Media Room

McAloon uses a caramel yellow paint on the walls to warm up the room and set off the red hue in the wood floor. A graffiti-painted corner against the back wall adds an urban edge and creates a nook for the exercise machine. For a modern media look, a bubble wrap paint treatment (basically using bubble wrap as a stamp) in gray creates an avant-garde bar-code pattern on the right wall. The mix of clean lines and urban funk creates an offbeat balance that makes a striking impression.
