Hide CaptionShow CaptionWith nowhere to hide their clutter this media area has become a giant mess.
Homeowners Margie and John Cwikla live in a modern, urban loft. Unfortunately, their entryway has turned into a cluttered dumping ground for keys, mail and media equipment. What they really want is a room that's inviting and comfortable. Using clean lines and colorful, funky accents, host Karen McAloon mixes modern elements with an urban twist to create a truly unique media room.

The homeowners have good intentions, but no follow-through. Media equipment intended to create a great hangout space lies around on the couch. The viewing screen is hung from the ceiling in front of sliding glass doors, which is awkward to maneuver around. The homeowners admit they've always had a clutter problem, but now it's magnified by living in a loft; there's nowhere to tuck away all this stuff.
