New cushions make the hard-surfaced chairs and bench more inviting. An old table base is also painted white and a new tabletop is made by pouring concrete into a melamine frame. After the frame is carefully removed, a coat of furniture wax is applied to the concrete slab to give it a nice sheen and help protect if from stains.
