Michelle and Stephen Rubino have lived with their two young children in their newly constructed home outside of Boca Raton for almost two years. The couple plans for the 6,700 square foot Mediterranean home to be their last. They have been tackling their decorating projects room by room, but are at a loss when it comes to their master bedroom. The couple will choose one of three Florida designers to create a clean, dramatic look for their master suite
After reviewing the designers' plans, the Runbinos decide on Jane DeBoe, who creates a Mediterranean retreat playing off the canal outside. Her touches include a fountain of Venetian glass, a desk and two chaise chairs, a mural of water, and Mediterranean-style bed that has a television built into its footboard. With the addition of the new entry, DeBoe creates a Venetian hotel suite feeling in this once bland bedroom.
