To make the project, Jeff starts by nailing pieces of 1 x 2 wood on all four sides of a plywood board. The fabric is pulled taut around the plywood and the wooden sides are then stapled onto the inside, back. Metal flashing is hammered around the outer sides to give the hangings a finished edge.
