Before: Too Plain and Boring
Ryan Elbing, Kevin Hennessey and Ben Hagen have been best buddies all through high school and college. Now, recently graduated, these three guys are sharing a three-story townhouse. Their careers are heating up, but their home is dull as dishwater. Because the place is rather large, it has become a gathering spot for friends. The problem is, when everyone comes over, they all hang out in the kitchen because the living room is too plain and boring.

With the help of host Joan Steffend, carpenter Jeff Meyer, and less than $500, designer Nadia Ramirez transformed this living room from dorm-like to grownup.
