Living Room Rescue

Ed and Annie Akopyan have great taste in furniture, but they haven’t figured out the best way to arrange it in their living room. Their furniture is large and grand, and the space is long and narrow. The couple needs Angelo Surmelis and the 24 Hour Design team to help them find focus in their living room and showcase its grand style.

The family uses this space as a living room, family room and an entertaining area. They have some fanciful sofas and luxurious carved-wood tables, but even with all the elaborate furniture the room still feels blasé and dull. The homeowners have been experimenting with color by painting swatches on the wall, but they’ve not been able to find just the right shade.
