Add panels of layered fabrics to ready-made curtains to coordinate a window treatment to a room's decor.Materials:
ready-made curtains in a solid color
2 coordinating fabrics
decorative trim or ribbon
scissors
fusible webbing
fabric glue
iron
pins
Steps :
1. Cut desired number of rectangles from the coordinating fabrics in the desired size (make the top layer pieces four inches smaller than the background pieces). Fuse one-inch hems in place on all the background pieces.
2. Pin the top fabric panels to the background pieces and glue in place. Remove pins and glue trim over the raw edges.
3. Attach the layered panels over each ironed curtain with pins and glue in place .
