Lavish Living Room

Navid and November Mcllhargey recently moved into a two-story Craftsman home and are working to make it their dream home. They're renovating all the rooms at once, so none of them are finished.

The Dilemma
The living room is a long, open space, and the couple can't figure out what to do with it. They want to create intimate seating areas for entertaining. There's a focal point at each end — a fireplace and a large window — but the long, narrow shape is tricky. They have a few mismatched chairs but no cohesive style or color scheme.
