McAloon filled the table with crayons, small toys, plastic beads and other fun items and affixed them with a hot glue gun. Then she poured resin into the shapes to fill the space. (Resin is highly odorous, so do this in a well-ventilated area.) This is also a great idea for old, beat-up coffee tables. You can create little time capsules with photos, mementos, miniature collections, etc.
