Kentucky Farm Gourd Art

She starts by drawing the design onto the dried gourd then outlines the design with an industrial-strength woodburner. She uses a variety of paints, markers and leather dyes to bring the design to life. Often she embellishes them even further by adding carved detailing, copper wire, fibers and glass beads.
