3/4" pine lumber

Steps:

1. Cut the following pieces from the 3/4-inch pine lumber: two 16" x 2" and two 20" x 2" for the frame. Cut two 16" x 5-1/2", two 5-1/2" x 5-1/2" and one 14-1/2" x 6" pieces for the box.

2. Assemble the frame and the box using the wood glue and screws. Allow the glue to dry.

3. Sand the pieces smooth. Fill any imperfections with the wood filler/putty.

4. Prime the frame, box and wooden ball knobs, and allow to dry.

5. Base coat the frame and box with Reindeer Moss Green and the wooden ball knobs with Violet Haze. Apply as many coats as necessary to achieve even opaque coverage.

6. Mark off the top two corners of the frame with a diagonal line and paint the outside edge with Violet Haze.

7. Stencil all the different designs on the box and frame. Allow to dry.

8. Add the la-de-da dots to the diagonal lines at the top of the frame, randomly to the cups and saucers, and to the wooden ball knobs. Allow all painting to dry for several days. Then apply at least two coats of protect varnish to all surfaces.

9. Attach the poultry wire to the back side of the frame using the staple gun.

10. Attach the wooden ball knobs to the bottom of the box using E-6000 glue. Allow to dry overnight; then attach the frame to the box.
