Italian Sitting Room

The basic design elements of the Inspiration Room are the warm pink and peach hues on the walls, the Venetian mooring post used on the coffee table and curtain rod and the expensive Fortuny fabrics of the accent pillows. The mirrors, from the 1700s, are balanced on both sides of the sofa. A $6,000 custom coffee table adds to the rich look of the room, as do throw pillows that cost $1,200 each.
