The plain closet doors are enhanced with a grass cloth faux paint finish. A glaze and paint mixture is applied with a paint pad, then a paint comb (available in home centers) is immediately dragged through the mixture to reveal the base coat beneath. (Do this technique one pass at a time--apply the paint/glaze mixture then immediately drag the comb through.) Once the vertical sections are dry, repeat the process horizontally to create the grass cloth look. (glaze: Do-It-Center - 400011)
The white walls are banished beneath a coat of camel-colored paint. (wall paint: Mark's Paint Store - Benjamin Moore, Desert Tan 2153-50)
