Product Ideas
The drapery in the designer room was made from the same luxurious Thai silk as the bedding. Six empire-silk panels were used to re-create the window treatments, and silk fringe was added to give them a more luxurious feel. A valance was made from plywood and an extra curtain panel. Jamie constructed the valance frame out of two 1 x 6s and two 1 x 4s screwed together. The panel is wrapped around the plywood like a present and then fastened with staples. The valance is then attached to the wall using L brackets.
