Master Suite Makeover

Homeowners Renee and Fred Karpik have a huge bedroom and not enough furniture to go around. Host Karen McAloon spices up the pale walls by using rich colors and an innovative paint technique to create new art for the walls. Furniture from other rooms and other items from the garage and yard help fill in the space and create a classic, elegant look for this master suite.

This spacious bedroom has ornate, antique-looking furniture, but it's not arranged to fit the space. The headboard is too small in proportion to the bed and room, and a desk is awkwardly positioned next to the bed for use as a nightstand.
