How to Display Pots of Dried Roses

Drying roses is surprisingly simple. Air-drying is the fastest, easiest and least-expensive method to preserve roses.

To air-dry roses, simply hang them upside down. A dark, dry place is best, but a rose hung from a bedroom mirror often dries just as well. Roses in perfect condition dry best, but even bouquets past their prime are worth the effort.

When dry, roses are crinkly and brittle, so think ahead about how you will use the dried flowers. A bouquet with intertwined stems, for instance, will be difficult to take apart after drying.
