AfterHere's how a messy storage space became a Hollywood-esque dressing room.
- The walls are striped with a soft pink and warm mocha color (over the cream-color base coat).
- A tidy storage system is constructed along two of the walls using brackets, closet poles and pine shelves. Two-sided damask sheets are used to create a valance and drapery effect to hide the clothing. Grommets are attached to the top and the sheets are hung from the closet poles with silver shower curtain rings. Trim from old prom dresses is used to add interest to the edges.
How-to: Oversized Ottoman
Steps:
- Skirt the bottom of a square coffee table with fabric and attach with staples.
- Cut a piece of plywood to fit the top and upholster with batting and fabric.
