A trash can and a drum shade come together to make a contemporary light fixture for above the poker table. The trash can is attached to the shade using threaded rods. Then a hole is cut in the bottom of can and a standard hanging fixture is then inserted. The holes in the side of the can allow light to come through and reflect off the shade.

A black and white collage is crafted when some rectangular-shaped puzzle pieces found at a thrift store are adhered onto a glass cabinet door.

Light fixture – $11 and artwork – $15
