Hide CaptionShow CaptionThis sofa was a thrifty find and only needed minimal adjustments to make it a unique piece for the homeowner.
The homeowner's hand-me-down sofa is replaced with a $50 thrift-store find. A wooden surround with metal trim is made to cover the existing arms and the back of the sofa. Shelves are built into the surround to provide plenty of storage.

An old lawyer's book cabinet found in the garbage is spray painted black and transformed into a unique coffee table (see After photo).
