With the help of host Joan Steffend, carpenter Jeff Meyer and less than $500, designer Beth Solberg gives a living and dining room once filled with mismatched, hand-me-down furniture a contemporary, masculine look that's perfect for poker night. To save money, some Oops paints are mixed together, resulting in a warm shade of charcoal gray. The existing dark blue wall in the dining area stays because it works perfect with the manly color scheme. The homeowner's TV is given a new cabinet also, to match the new color scheme.
Paint – $15 and TV cabinet – $46
