Host Brooke Channon tours a grand salon created by designer Luba Fox, who used towering window treatments, sumptuous fabrics and imaginative accessories to give the space a bold and contemporary flair. The room’s crowning glory, a sculpted bronze chandelier, helps create an eclectic ambiance.
Transforming the Makeover Room
Designer Melissa Wilson helped direct the transformation of a cluttered, outdated family room with a worn-out old couch into a spacious and stylish room with the following steps:
- Painted the walls a buttery chamois tone (Benjamin Moore: Desert Tan).
- Hung black, khaki and tan checked window treatment.
- Replaced old couch with a reconditioned leather couch dressed with ultra suede pillows.
