Designer Michelle Shields helped them create a personal and inviting master suite with traditional architectural details that makes a beautiful showcase for treasured family antiques.
- A blue and white trellis rug set the color scheme for the bedroom. The pale, creamy white walls are paired with textiles in a blue and white check and toile patterns. Mahogany antiques stand out against the cool background and provide a warm, inviting feel to the room.
- The cozy sitting area, which overlooks the back of the property, is furnished with two comfortable rocking chairs, a bookshelf and a coffee table.
- Casement windows were chosen for the entire house because of their easy operation and horizontal design presence.
