Funky Teenage Bedroom

Cunningham creates a modern light fixture to replace the outdated one. She builds an 18x36-inch box to hide the wiring and serve as a drop ceiling-type structure. She routes the edges and paints it white, which gives the structure a retro plastic look. She drills several holes into the box for hanging pendant lights and attaches cardboard tubes, covered with white self-adhesive paper around those holes.
