French Provincial Sitting Room

The walnut coffee table in the designer room is a Louis 15th-style piece with cabriolet legs and nail head accents. For the makeover room, a coffee table and side table set was found online for $500. Gold detailing is painted on the edge of the coffee table to mimic the designer room original and to accent the curved lines. The acrylic paint is applied with a brush and then immediately dabbed with a sponge to tone down the paint for a subtle look.
