The $10,000 sofa in the inspiration room is an antique reproduction of a Louis 15th-style sofa. It is upholstered in jacquard floral fabric with oak cabriolet legs. The Double Take team found this sofa at a thrift store for $200, then had it reupholstered for $600. The sofa has the same curved lines and carved wood detail as the original. Michelle sewed the floral cushions and pillows with some fabric and trim purchased at a discount fabric store.
Tip: Mixing upholstery designs can be tricky. A good rule of thumb is to stick to similar colors schemes and feature only one dominant pattern.
