Use floral preservative and a hot glue gun to create customized artwork out of leaves or twigs found in your own backyard!

Materials:

plants, leaves, twigs or flowers
floral preservative spray
picture frames
spray paint
hot glue gun

Steps:

1. Remove the existing artwork, glass and cardboard backing from the frames. Paint the cardboard in the desired color and let dry.

2. Cut an assortment of plants, leaves, twigs or flowers. Spray each with floral preservative and let dry.

3. Run a bead of hot glue along the back of the leaves and arrange each as desired on top of the cardboard (figure A). Reassemble the picture frame.
