The sandy color palette acts as a neutralizing backdrop for the new furniture pieces and accessories and contrasts beautifully with the white ceiling beams. Designer Angelo Surmelis left the beams white on purpose, to enhance their architectural detail. The canopy daybed replaces the sofas provides ample seating for the family. Design assistant Shaina Fewell created custom-made pillows for the bed using various fabric remnants that the family had on hand, which add fabulous color and texture to the area. A curtain of beads tops off the look on this side of the room.
