These floral cakes, which are simple to make and look good enough to eat, make wonderful hostess gifts or birthday presents.Materials:
flowers like carnations (which look like frosting), roses, hydrangeas and Gerbera daisies; avoid seasonal flowers like lilies, which won't lay flat
4" brick of floral foam
craft knife
pinch of sugar or aspirin
bleach
scissors
chrysanthemums or daisies
empty toilet paper roll
wooden skewers
decorative paper
hot-glue gun
plastic plate
smaller round of foam
Steps:
- Cut a circle out of the 4-inch floral foam brick with a craft knife. It will look small, but when flowers are added it will look much larger.
