Dwayne and Julia Pipkins aspired to do more with their master bedroom but haven't found inspiration. Student designer Kate Partin plans to make this massive space feel more like a retreat by painting the walls green with chocolate trim.

Before: Blank Canvas
Julia Pipkins isn't afraid of color, but she and her husband, Dwayne, aren't sure what to do with their bedroom. Although it is painted, the "great wall" is a totally blank canvas otherwise.
They're looking to student designer Kate Partin to help redo this massive space. A custom duvet incorporating the wall color, nightstands, frosted window doors in an unusual location, a mantel over the bed and a new padded headboard are all part of Partin's big plans to completely change the room.
