Sew some felt clay pot pockets to hold flatware, a napkin and even some springtime flowers.

Materials:

felt
matching and contrasting thread
scissors

Steps:

1. Cut out four pieces of felt in the shape of a small clay pot (two for the front and two for the back). Zigzag stitch two together around the outside edges and repeat with the remaining two pieces. Then, topstitch any desired designs or outlines on the front piece using a contrasting thread.
2. Zigzag stitch the front to the back, leaving the top open to insert the necessities.

place mats (Pier 1 Imports)
striped and floral plates (Kohl's)
