The sofa is "floated" in the center of the space facing the fireplace to help balance the weight and color throughout. The loveseat is squared off with the sofa to complete the main seating area.

The existing side tables are too small for the overstuffed sofa and loveseat so the redesigners bring in an oval table from the entry. The rug is turned perpendicular to the fireplace and topped with the owner's oversized coffee table.
Western movie posters found in another room are brought in to add color and energy to the tone-on-tone color scheme.
