After: The room is transformed with vibrant accent colors, textured and stone-like walls and teak wood. Rupa Ghodasara and Kishan Kosandra fell in love with the exotic wonders of Bali on their honeymoon. They wanted to bring back the Far East to their living room by painting the walls, fireplace and TV stand lime green and orange, but their good design intentions got lost in translation.
With a $2,000 budget, interior designer Frank Fontana, contractor Steve Pitzer and design coordinator Jennifer Julian will rescue them from their Bali blunder. The room is transformed with three design elements intricate to Bali design: vibrant accent colors, textured and stone-like walls and teak wood.
