Kellie makes picture tiles with photographs of the homeowners' children. She starts by printing the photo in reverse on transfer paper. Liquid medium is spread on the tile and on the front of the photo. The photo is placed face-down on the tile then placed in the oven for 15 minutes at 170 degrees (or it can sit at room temperature for at least four hours). She moistens the transfer paper with water then peels it off. Transfer paper and liquid medium usually provide instructions on their label. Finally, a diamond drill bit is used to make the holes for the rope.
