Embellish Clear Glass Bowls Into Works of Art

2. Use a very small brush to paint one side of each of the glass jewels. We used blue paint for this project.

3. Adhere the glass jewels to the bowl with instant squeeze adhesive, spacing evenly around the outside of the bowl.

4. Use a flat narrow artist brush to add sizing to inner, top of and outer lip edge of bowl. Let the brush decide the size of the area.

5. Once size dries to a tacky stage, apply gold leaf. Let dry well. Brush away excess leaf.

6. Use gold outliner to draw lines around faux jewels so that they look set in gold. Use the outliner to further embellish the design by connecting the faux jewels with gold, swoopy lines. Let dry well.
